Fixing a powerhead wire?

Hey guys, I just noticed that my maxspect gyre pumps wire is cracked open. It's right where the wire goes into the powerhead. I think its corroded from being bent. Im not really in the mood to buy another $350 pump that I've only had for a year or so. Anyone know if there is any way to fix this with some type of silicone glue or a heatshrink wrap?

and yes, it does. I've found their customer service to be quite good.

As for repair - nothing that will last and be safe that I am aware of.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Another friend saw this and said the same thing. I pulled out the receipt and its more like 2 years ago so Im hoping its still covered. I sent a request ticket to coralvue.

They replaced the pump and controller, no questions asked. +1 for the great support.
