Flame angel being a real ******

My angel fish is chasing my goby and fire fish he won't bother the clowns or the shrimp or frogspawn ?? Do I need to trade him in ??? Maybe put him in the sump of death for a day or 2 lol??

What size tank? How long have you had the fish

It's a 150 gallon 48x24x30 the flame angel has been in there for like 3 weeks the goby and fire fish like 3 days to a week

Yep, get the flame out. I had one that harassed much larger fish to death. You can try the sump time out, but it will continue to be a problem with new arrivals.

Adding fish in order of least aggressive to most aggressive seems to be the preferred advice.

I would get rid of him. Will probably chase any new fish you add.

The flame is a much nicer fish, get rid of the firefish.
He'll get over chasing the goby.

My diamond goby and my fire fish live under the same rock so yea they get along very well I think I am going give it a week or so and then if nothing changes I'll see about exchanging my flame angel for a smaller one at my LFS

My flame chased my new wrasses the first week. First day was intense. I'd say depending if their fins are nipped badly or not give it a little more time. Try keeping the lights off for a few days. After about maybe 5 or 6 days he stopped.

I just took out my starcki damselfish, had him for a couple months but wouldn't let two of the wrasses move around more than 10% of my tank. And one of the wrasses fins were getting bit pretty bad, so he had to go. Put half my water and most my rocks without coral on it in a brute yesterday and caught him, along with a sally lightfoot crab.

+1...Flame is a 'must have' fish...I have 4 of them in my tank now...can't remember not having a Flame in past 40+ yrs
