I have a Squamosa that's about 5 inches in size in my 75g for about 3 months now... It has been doing great. My Flame angel that never bothered it before jumped out of the tank, so I bought another flame angel, it is roughly about 1.5 inches in size. After a few days of having the flame in the tank, it started to pick at the mantle of the squamosa. Today, the clam opened up for a few hours in the morning, but I guess the flame kept nipping at it, so it has been closed for about 3 hours now....Should I be worried? What can I do to prevent the flame from nipping it besides getting rid of the flame...because I can't catch it....I did put a small mirror near the squamosa to try and deter the flame, but it still nips at the shell of the clam once in a while. What can I do? Any advice would be helpful. thanks
