Flame Angel not eating

I added a flame angel to my tank. Looks healthy, not shy, picking at everything, but won't eat my food. It's homemade, all the other fish love it.What can I temp him with? Had him for about 3 weeks

try some other types of food. mysis shrimp, pellets, brine shrimp, and maybe some algae sheets. variety seems to be key.

Flames are parasite bombs it may have some internal stuff

Flame Angels are notorious for not eating. It is recommend to quarantine them to make sure they are eating and not sick. It still may be getting use to it's surroundings. How long has your tank been up. It's a possibility, it could be getting enough to eat from algae and pods off the rocks and substrate. You can try some Mysis shrimp (always work for me) and some Nori rubberband to a small piece of rock. You can also try a little garlic to try to entice the feeding response.
