flame angel not liking QT

Last Saturday I got a Flame Angel from the LFS. It has been in my QT ever since. Alittle slow to eat at first but it has come around. Until yesterday, it was doing fine. Last nigh I noticed it had gone to the top of the tank and was staying there. I also noticed one eye to be alttle swollen......maybe a trauma?
No signs of ick.......I checked my water and it is fine. Just did a water change on Monday but might do another one tonight.
Any thoughts as to what might be going on??

QT is a 20 gallon bare bottom with penguin filter. It has been setup for at least 1 year. I have one damsel in there to keep it "going". He has been in there since Feb of this year. I checked water last night and everything was great....Amm 0 nitrates 0 ph 8.0 salinity 1.025 temp 80. Did a water change on Monday. I only use R/O water.

i would add some major pvc structures to allow the angel a bit of relief from being out in the open..

what kind of damsel is in there? hopefully it's not harrassing the crap out of the newcomer?

as long as the fish continues to feed and move about, it s/b fine.

I forgot to mention.........there is a partition between the flame and damsel. I know that damsel would kick his butt otherwise. Also, I have a fake rock structure and plant for the flame.
Would you consider treating the tank with an antibiotic as a "just in case" measure for a secondary infection if the eye problem is related to a trauma?

is the eye cloudy at all? if not, i would just give it a few days and go from there.

No, it doesn't look cloudy. Just alittle swollen at the top edge. The right eye is fine.
Ok.......I'll watch him closely and hope that he just bumped into something in the middle of the night
