Flame angel vs. flasher wrasse

I appretiate opinions from whomever has owned one or both:

Which is easier to feed?

Which is hardier?

And most importantly; are fale angels safe to leather corals?

I'd go with the wrasse if it's a reef. Flame angels can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are model citizens, and others will pick at various corals.

most dwarf angels are reef safe. my fairy wrasse never comes out to feed. my flame and cb angel r the best.

i was planning on egg-crate to support window screening. I would of course only do eggcrate where the lighting ballast will sit, as the screen would snuff out alot of the light.

NO! Egg crate will not work with these fish. You need 1/4 inch holes.

I have both in a reef tank... Both are out all the time. I would do the wrasse. make sure you listen to the memberrs above. cover the tank.

aparantly i didnt describe it the way i have it planned out... the egg crate is a
mere-(sp?) support for a finer mesh. Perhaps when i finish it i will post a pic. Is there a more formal name for a 'yellowfin flasher wrasse' as that is all my LFS can order at this point.

Mesh will work. However I would not put anything electrical on egg crate over salt water. That is a recipe for disaster.
