Flame angel with current stock?

My current stock consists of a pair of Ocellaris clowns, a leopard wrasse, a Yellowtail Damselfish, and a Bristletooth Tomini Tang (Flame fin tang). Everyone gets along great in my tank (75 gal w/ 20 gallon sump).

I have about 100lbs of liverock and a SWC 150 skimmer, LPS and softies tank.

Will adding a Flame angel be ok?

Thank-you

You should be fine, no other angels in the aquarium to stress the new addition. Hopefully your rock is mature enough where it can support the constant grazing that flame angels do.

Would having 2 "grazers" be a bad idea? The tang grazes the rock, the algee i hang on the tank wall, and eats the meaty food i feed the tank. The wife wants the angel for the colors...i can get a differant fish if theres a better one for my tank.

Should be fine, supplement with dried nori too. Flames need plenty of mature LR to thrive (IME & IMO); but they are omnivores, not herbivores, and will eat just about anything. The damsel may end up being a real PITA, though.

The damsel has been a model citizen for the most part. He and my last addition (the tang) did some darting around the first few hours the tang was put in the tank, but i really think they were both scared of each other instead of any bullying. As of right now everyone is one big happy family. 3-4 months ago the damsel did bully a royal gamma i put in the tank, but it seemed that all the fish were picking on the gamma...mabey it was sick or something...i never saw the gamma again after the lights went out :(
