flame angel

I'm in the process of building a DIY starphire cube of 26gal with a 10 gal sump and a 5.5 fuge.

I've wanted a firefish forever, but I love open tops, so that's out. I'm going BB so gobies are out.

I'm thinking of a single flame angel for the tank.

When would I add it? I just finished cooking my rock in a tote(30days). I just added the rock, a clean-up crew, and small zoa rock to a ten gallon while I get the display and stand ready.

Should I stock corals or the fish first? I figure I would wait a good 30 days after the main tank is up before adding anything.

I figure I will have a good control of water quality and temp within that time. I'll also wait out any algae issues(I hope I don't have). 30 days of full photo-period 150W MH should be enough to show any problems with no4 or po3. I'm running about 5 on my nitrate now and phosphates are .25.

I just want to avoid the two-perc-two-goby-nano-thing.

I'm going to check out my new zoa rock...pretty cool, three different colors on one 5" rock. One is like a teal green with pink eye, one is neon green with dark green eye, and the other is purple with pink eye.

It is my first coral for this tank and was all open within an hour...

IMO, a good buy for $25.
