anyone have one...how are they with clowns...i know they may nip at corals....but overall are they a descent fish to have?

Your sig says you have a 20 high...might want to update that.

As to the FA, they are beautiful, but not exactly reef safe. Some people have had success with them in their reef tanks-some haven't. I wouldn't take the chance in my tank.

I did and it worked out fine. Feeding it a little extra may help. If you let it get hungry tho watch out. Also depends on the corals. I think they are much more prone to going after soft coral with thin frilly ends such as a xenia than say an LPS. But I may be wrong.

Mine takes the occasional nibble at SPS polyps, so I now have zero daytime PE. However, it's a beautiful fish full of personality. You buy yer fishes, you take yer chances.

They are hit or miss. Mine chewed on zoo polyps and brain corals non stop until I got rid of it. They are cool looking fish but I'm done with them for awhile.

I had one and I loved her (they are born females). She had alot of personality and was kept well fed so she never niped at my Lobo or anything else. It really depends on the individual and how well they are fed.

My flame angel ate all of my acan's. Lost about $500-600 in corals. Before I thought it may be worth the risk since they're so colorful. But, lesson learned.
