flame angel?

okay i see a lot of flame angels in reef tanks but only in pics. can you really have them in reef tanks or not. my lfs says no way at all but i've read that it's possible. what do you guys think

lol it's hit or miss. it will SURVIVE in your tank, but im not too sure it's reefsafe. ere on the side of caution.

I've had one for almost a year and he's a perfect gentleman. Yea, he's sometimes a bit of a tail chaser...but nothing more.

I feed two times a day and sometimes Nori and pellets and so he's well fed.

Never once seen him nip a coral and he's really beautiful.

Do it! Just keep em fed

I have a Flame Angel and a Coral Beauty. Both nip at rocks but not at my corals.

Mine hasn't touched a thing in over a year. He's a tad pushy at times but who isn't.
