Flame angels and cupramine death

Last week I had an out break of ich in my DT, took out my Cherub and my Flame was covered In white spots. Added him to My quarantine tank yesterday. It's a 10 gallon tank, I did the calculations for the dosage of cupramine. I planned on only giving 0.35ppm as I read angels are sensitive to copper. I planned on adding .2ml of cupramine every 24hours for 6 days until i get a 0.35ppm concentration. Woke up this morning and he was dead. Did I do something wrong? Or was he already too sick and stressed? Was .2ml too much? Should I got to .1ml for 12 days instead until it reaches a concentration of 0.35ppm?

Flame angels are particularly sensitive to copper, but it may not have been the primary cause here.
You stated that the fish was covered in ich. If the density was high enough, the trauma the parasites caused to the skin when leaving the fish may have been enough to be fatal.
Studies have shown that the highest mortalities occur right after the parasites drop off, caused by the trauma to the fish's skin. A delayed die-off occurs usually due to secondary bacterial infections of the damaged skin.
