Thanks Steve and the others for the compliments. I'm just very particular about certain things.
When I built my sump I had to rely on my table saw for a final edge. The router was leaving chatter marks on the edge. I'm pretty sure that my craftsman router is probably ready for the trash, It sure makes a lot more noise than normal. Probably bearings. I like to see what a good edge can look like with a good router. I don't have any projects in mind right now so when Mike hosts the meeting I'll see what a good router can do before I invest in a new one.
Mike, I know it's a long way off yet, but I'll start collecting some of my left overs to bring to the meeting. We won't need any beer cause well all get a buzz off from the cement fumes. LOL

I ordered that Bosch router today by the way. It was the last day of the sale. 197.99, you can't beat it for everything it comes with.
I bought my router and router table from harbor freight. The router is a 2 1/2 hp Chicago Electric. Both for less than $200.00 I hate the table because the router mounts right smack in the middle of it but I love the router. Nice and fast. I'm going to make a new top for the router table so I can mount the router further back. Plus some other modifications. But right now my biggest priority is getting my reef tank going and I still have much to do on that.

That's my biggest priority as well. The new table saw will have to wait until the tank is up.
I have a table saw as well.... has been very useful for practicing cutting my acrylic as well as cutting the wood for my stand and canopy. As far as the canopy is concerned, you would not belive how many peices I have cut either too short or too narrow. What a headache that was. One day I had to just quit while I was ahead, and that wasnt much at all.

I have almost completed the stand and am waiting to start the canopy. But it sounds like your progress is very similar to mine. What size is your new tank going to be?

joehoble what type of tablesaw do you have? mine is just a benchtop skil table saw I think. Only have a 12" right rip on it. Blah!!
