A good friend recently tore down his tank in preparation to move back to Iowa. He sold me his prized Flame RBTA with the agreement that the first clone would go back to him in the future. Let me know what you guys think.

Great looking RBTA.... although I hate to say it I have one that is very similar to this one that has been in my tank for a year and half and all it has done has growen in size... no split. After doing some research on this color of BTA it seems that it is very rare that they spilt on their own in our tanks. Good Luck.

The video done with my phone really can't show it's true colors. I wish I had bought that Canon T3i. Then maybe I could have taken some decent video.

It was about 24 inches under a 20K 400 watt metal halide for about 6 months. For the first 2 weeks, most of us were like... You paid $700 for that??? not impressed... Then after the stress of being shipped wore off and acclimation to the light, it started to bounce back. Then by the 3rd week Everyone was like WOW!!! It's been in my tank for a week now and adjusted to my AI SOL LED's with in the first couple of days. It is all the way at the bottom of my tank in the left corner about 26" from the nearest 70 degree lens. I may change out that corner to a 40 degree lens and see if it likes it.
