flame scallop care

My girlfriend had a flame scallop that she gave to me from her nano cube. It was slowly shrinking. She had just put in phoshphate sponge and also lost a star fish and a crab. I have a 30 galoon reef that has been est. for about a year, and was hoping that my water quality would help the scallop. Is there anyhting else that I can do, or is it going to die.

these guys like phosphate and nitrates, they also require a lot of food, so they are not great reef inhabbitants and really need to bein a species tank.

I have 2 flames in my fish only tank in my class room (which has high everything) and julio is dead on, they do great in that tank. Once I tried taking one out and put it into my reef tank that poor soul died in less then a week...

WE have a regular flame and an electric flame scallop. Have had them both since July. They will pretty much move anywhere they want. I think the key is to direct feed DT's several times a week.
