Has anyone had one of these before? if so how hard are they to care for? is there any special things needed to support them (other then plankton)? also how are they with other fish/invertabrates (is there any species i should not get or that dont mix well with them?) well thanks =) o one more thing how big do they get? thanks!

They are for experts only, I was planning on getting some until I heard about how hard they are to take care of, I kind of forgot what it was, but they are only for experts. Its something about the food they need, which is hard to get or something. Don't waste your money, they sell them in the stores, but they won't last long.

If your tank is well established (year or older) they seem to be fine. I had one live for well over a year and never fed it. They usually make burrows so you really can't see them. Sometimes if you get lucky they will make a "home" where you can notice them, otherwise they are just a waste of money. They don't really do much in terms of activity although they do look cool.
