Flame Wrasse Help?

Sup Guys,


I am considering getting a female Hawaii Flame Wrasse. Will it eventually turn into a male Flame Wrasse or a SuperMale Flame Wrasse? what's the difference between a regular male and a super male?

I had a male and got 2 females. One of the females turned into a submale a couple weeks afterwards. So now I have 1 terminal (super male, 1 submale, and a female.) So far they all get along. I would think the difference would be the super male is fully matured.
Maybe some others will chime in.

Yes. My 2 females were in a dealers holding tank for a few weeks before I got them.

If you get a couple of females, one will turn male, but supermales only grow in the wild.

how can you tell the difference between the male and female flame wrasse?

one is overall pink and the other is yellow and red ( the male). Super males only occur when there is competition in the harem for a dominent male. Female flames are also more aggressive, my second female unfortunatly killed my larger one after a month.
