Flash Recommendation?

Anyone here use the 430exII and get enough light? or should I spend the extra 150 and get the 530? Is there a huge difference in the light the 530exII puts out?

That depends on how far away your subject will be. Do you want to light up the entire room or just the specific subject? Do you want to light up the background? It just depends on what kind of flash photography you are trying to achieve. I would say for most situations the 430exII would be fine though.

I need one just for fill light for outside and bounce for portraits indoors. I wasnt sure If I could get enough light for bounce indoors

That would depend on how high the ceilings are...the colors of the ceilings...and a few other factors. I would think a 430exII could handle itself just fine though. For fill flash it would be solid.

Cool, Thanks for the help. Ill just go for it. Im sure in the future Ill get the 580 and use the 480 as a slave
