Hi,
I have had a flasher wrasse in QT for just over 3 weeks now. 5 days ago, I noticed he had lost a small section of his rear fin and both his filamentous dorsal fins were missing as well.
He is the only fish in QT. He is eating fine and shows no other symptoms that cause concern.
I've treated the QT with Myxazin for 3 days, he continues to eat but there is no improvement with his fins.
I'm not sure if this is the correct course of treatment, and after some reading on here, I have a suspicion that the ragged fins could be caused by flukes.
I would therefore like some advice as to how to work out whether there is a problem and if there is, accurately diagnose it so that I can treat it.
Thanks
Lee
