Flat "things" on mushrooms

So I've had for a while (year/half) and I've noticed these flat things and they look like scabs but I touched it with my long grabbers and they moved! I can't see eyes, my cleaner shrimp doesn't clean them off, and they are only on the mushrooms. Please and thank you 😊😊 uploadfromtaptalk1457505553090.jpg

Could be some kind of flat worm. I'd pull the rock and see if you can get them off with a dip or with a pair of tweezers.

yep Red Planaria pain in the butt. they loved my softies didn't really notice an adverse reaction to them except don't like looking at them . there are numerous was to get rid of them natural predators such as wrasses, then chemical.
when I had them I dipped all my softies in revive and watched them die. then they came back. dip does nothing for the eggs. so I then went and got a target mandarin because I wanted one and low and behold he took care of the flatworm problem that I had.
if you do end up doing the chemical route I would research it and research it again and follow the instructions to the letter..

If you can remove the rock there on with ease a quick freshwater dip will remove them. The osmotic shock should have them falling off in a matter of seconds. GL.

Hopefully you'll be able to pull this rock out and do a freshwater dip. You dont need cold or hot water, just fresh water. I would use closest temp to your tank. Just by feeling the water should do, no need to shock the shroom :) Make sure you keep flat worms in check, they can reach plague proportions in a very short time. I found out first hand! And believe me they sure are ugly when you get them everywhere!! I didnt want to treat with chemicals, so I siphoned out what I could and bought a Melanarus Wrasse. Awesome addition to the reef, love him! And no more flat worms !! Good luck!
