Flat worm eating wrasse

I have a canary, a melanurus, a radiant, and a mystery. I've never seen any eat a flatworm. The flatworms in one tank did disappear after I added the melanurus but I can't say that he was directly responsible. As far as aggression between them, the melanurus does chase the canary a little but my flame angel likes to keep the melanurus in check- I don't know why because the angel doesn't bother any other fish, just the melanurus when it gets a little frisky.

I have had a melanurus for 3 months, and before that I've had flatworms heavily for 6 months. I haven't seen him eat them, but he's grown a big fat belly, is obviously healthy and very active, and the worms are disappearing steadily. Before him, I tried an arrow crab(never touched a worm), several blue velvet nudibranchs (ate worms from the first few minutes in the tank but disappeared within 2 days and never seen again), red scooter blenny (healthy for a year, but couldn't care less about flatworms), 2 target and 1 green mandarin (healthy and eating pods, but not interested in any food I fed nor in any flatworm), dragon-faced pipefish (ate pods and frozen but not flatworms), pair of lineatus wrasses. I've been very happy with the melanurus, and he's been fine with all my fish and inverts and corals - I don't have any clams, though, so I can't comment.

FWIW.... I have a black leopard and a lunare wrasse, I've never seen either one of them eat my red planaria FWs.

I'm going to resort to Salifert FWE and w/c.
