I have this soft coral that has what I think to be flat worms all over it, it does not seem to bother the coral, and they only seem to be on this one coral, but would like an id and any advice possible. Thanks.
There are many species of Acoel flatworms that feed on the mucous corals extrude (and the debris the mucous collects). They "clean" the coral. I would not remove them. You may want to experiment with transplanting them to another coral and see if they live or not. Is that Capanella? Cool find!
