My LFS has a nice piece of coral (zoanthids) I would like to buy but I noticed flatworms in his tanks. I know the zoas can take it, so my question is, can I rely on a fresh water dip to kill the flatworms?

Go to the zoanthid forum and you can read about muchoreefs dip for more details. You don't have to use the lugols but it would help for things like fungus or healing.
