Flatworms attack

It took me a while to decipher what the red spots that looked like algae in my tank were, and they are flatworms.

I bought a sixline wrasse and I think he isn't making a dent on them.

Any thoughts on what I should do? Will they go away naturally? Will wrasse get off his rear end and get to work?

I am worried about using Flatworm Exit by Salifert. Should I be?

Any help is appreciated.

if used right and there is not a million flatworms it will be ok to use flatworm exit

I just used flatworm exit with no problems. I'll PM you my number if you have any questions.

Levamisole... about 1/10th the price of Flatworm Exit and works better in my experience.

Make sure you do follow up treatments to get the stragglers or you will always have them grow back to current levels.

I did a water change and the wrasse may have eaten some. the outbreak isn't as prevalent, but is still there somewhat.

Just looked yesterday and there were way less flatworms than before.

The water change must have really helped or the wrasse must have found the flatworms.

There are still some left in the tank, but far less than before.
