Flatworms in SH tank

did you have to doo a water change. I just found some of these guys in my atnk I have been takeing them out but I would like to just rid of them. So I bought some FWE. But i have been hesitant for my fish and other life. How many did you end up haveing in your tank. Right now I can count About twenty visible ones. Should I just do it before it gets out of hand?

You're supposed to do a 25% water change after treatment. Not because of the exit but because the toxins produced by dying flatworms, which should be syphoned off before, during and after and new carbon put in after treatment. I can' believe it but they're back for me. The last treatment I used triple the dose and did kill some pods. I guess I'm just going to have to syphon as I see them.
I'm assuming they won't hurt my SH's or leaf fish?

A sixline is about the last fish I would put in with seahorses.

It'll outcompete them for pods, and eventually get very agressive.

I've got a six line in with my seahorses and no problems. At night I can see hundreds of baby shrimp (mysis and/or baby peppermints), I've got a refug for pods. My sixline doesn't do a thing for the flatworms.

velvet sea slugs, but I think they are out of season at this time

Interesting.........thanks

After the lights are out at night, leave a flashlight shining in a corner of the tank. The flatworms tend to migrate towards the light, then you can siphon them out of the corner.
