I posted this in the general forum, unsure whether it was an infection or another fish beating up my firefish. But now that I have him isolated it seems that his tail is getting much worse so I am thinking it must be an infection. The first photos are from 2 days ago, then one from this morning showing how bad it's getting.
He is eating very little and swimming with his tail up in the air, almost like he has a bubble in his tail (I did see a tiny bubble on it today). I'm not sure if this little guy is past saving
