FLEXIBLE drain and return pipe/hose options

Hey folks,

I am curious what options there are when it comes to plumbing material for flexible drain/return lines? Also, where might I get them in Canada?

Thanks,
Mike

I don't know about Canada. Marine Depot caries Supeflex PVC in a variety of sizes and ships to Canada. I have used it and love it. It is much more flexible then Spaflex. Will not crush or kink like other flexible tubing. I drove over a 12' of a 50' length of my 1" Superflex while setting up Reef-A- Palooza 2 years ago with 100 gallons of water in the back of my truck. When I realized it, I thought I was going to have to replace a big section of it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it only deformed it a little. It glues just like standard PVC and is only slightly harder to cut. You can eliminate a lot of 45 and 90 degree fittings by using it. Great stuff

Thanks for clarifying the name, I actually just found a few suppliers in Canada by searching that! Funny how all my previous searches for flexible pvc, flex tubing, etc didn't take me to any of these. Thanks again!

Search for silicone tubing. Much more flexible. I use it on drains, returns, skimmer cup drain, etc...
McMaster Carr sells it.

Glad to help. Good luck with your plumbing.

You can also get flexible PVC from mops.ca. It's a Canadian company and their prices on flexible PVC are really low.

Thanks,
Harry
