float valve besides the tiny little 1/4" things from BRS

I am looking to add a float valve to my ATO, for redundancy. it will still be controlled by a few float switches and my Apex. I would prefer to not drill the tank to install this, so the BRS version is not an option. I suppose I rig up something to hold a horizontal switch with no drilling, but vertical would be easier.

anyone have any other sources for float valves?

These are the cheap ones http://smile.amazon.com/Madison-M8000-Miniature-Polypropylene-Pressure/dp/B00909404Y/ref=pd_cp_hi_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=10G2Y83QSSQ40WK6BTQF
I used it on a nano with a small ato reservoir, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if it got stuck. If I were doing something more serious, maybe I would look harder. I'm sure there are fancier ways to do it, but it worked well for me. Here's a pic of how I rigged it to be somewhat snail / wave proof. It fit just right into those suction cup things that come with heaters so I could adjust the level easy.
