floor under stand question

Hello all got a weird question.
everybody knows about the quality construction we have in florida and the level, flatness of tile floors.
I am building a new stand (smaller) and moving my tank.
what do you think will be the best bet for a flat surface. high density foam? I was thinking of placing a sheet of plastic in a wood frame just bigger than the tank and poring a 1 inch slab in the mold. (plastic so it wont stick to tile for easy removal if sell home.
thoughts?
Andy
current stand is 5'x3' and downsizing to 4'x2' ish

Are you asking about leveling stand? If so why not just use shims? Composite if your are really paranoid but I've used them to level my stands before. Unless the floor is crazy uneven. Making the stand square and true will be more critical.

You shouldn't have a problem if the stand you build is square and level. I'd would expect any variance will be very small and can easily be shimmed once the stand is in place. Have you tried putting a level on the floor where the stand will be placed?
