Anyone ever try these ? How are they ?

I had one for a while and it cleaned the top of the sand fairly well. Never had any issues with it. Just make sure it is 100% a Florida Fighting Conch. Don't want to end up with a whelk.

When I upgraded my tank I had 2 tiger conchs which I liked even more. They were a little smaller and fit in smaller spaces. Also would lift themselves onto lower rockwork and stretch to eat the lower rocks and glass of the tank.

Florida fighting conchs are basically the same as tiger fighting conchs...real difference is the shell...

FWIW I prefer them over Nassarius snails since I know Nassarius can be carnivores
