Florida Keys Coral and Marine Life Video / Photos

I rented a camera for a day while in the Keys, so I'll be posting some video and photos for anyone interested.

My first dive was on the USS Siegel Grove wreck that is off the coast of Key Largo. It is a 510 ft long by 84 ft wide ship that sits in 134 ft of water near the gulf stream. The visibility was over 100 ft when I dove it, which would make this a spectacular photo and video opportunity. That is if the person diving wasn't so mesmerized that he forgot he had a camera that cost a chunk of money to rent.:sad2: I got very few last minute pics before ascending from the dive, but I'll post them later.

I currently have a video of the French Reef that I will share. You'll see some of the coral and marine life including a nurse shark. You'll want to choose 480p for best results. Sorry for the not so steady shooting, but this was my first time doing video and photo underwater. The guy I rented it from didn't even know much about how to use it.

Here are the few pics I took when I remembered I had a camera. It was near the end of my dive. These are of the Spiegel Grove wreck.

Some of these are of the Benwood Wreck which collided with another ship. They did bombing practice on it after they salvaged what was still good. The rest of the pics are from several locations around French Reef.

This is a bomb that was located a little ways from the Benwood Wreck. It has been disarmed.

The brain coral in this area were huge. Some are 2 -4 feet in diameter. Some are even 2 to 3 feet tall.
