Aside from the origin listing on zoaid.com, does anyone know of any other resources for visual examples of what's available off florida??

These are all from the Keys

I think the ones center I just purchased from ebay... the guy called them eye of odin or something like that. They are a deeper blue with a yellow skirt.

Great photos and thanks for the response!

Keep em coming folks.

Very nice Aurel thank you for posting...

On the second post, 3rd photo down, there are some in the back right corner (3rd in line) that are blurred... they look purple or deep blue with green skirts. What kind are those or are they unnamed?

That is these ones here, I don't know if they have a name or not I call them"Purple Pixes".....They are very tiny polyps.

I have personally seen PPE zoanthids growing in the waters of florida. The blues and colorful palys are some of the coolest zoas we have here IMO.

Where have you seen them?? My sister lives in Tampa and I've thought about a fall vacation to visit with some snorkeling thrown in for fun. She and her husband are scuba certified as well, so that's always an option.
