Flow for a 50G?

Just wondering what would be best for a 50G tank. Would like to have 2 alternating streams and a controller set up. Would the 6000s work or would this be too much? What would people recommend?

What are the dimensions and what corals will you focus on? Also, what type of sand bed if any do you plan on having?

dimensions are 36x18x18. i would like to use a 3-4 inch sand bed. as far as corals, i was thinking of some soft corals, but mainly a mix. since i am fairly new to everything and have yet to set up, i am open to ideas from people that are used to setting up reefs.

I would probably go with 2 6055 nano streams if you want controllable pumps or 2 6045 set up on timers to alternate every 30 minutes or so.
