flow for a 65

trying to decide if I should ditch the mp10 for a 40 or go with a mixture or anything else in between. Open to suggestions looking to keep mainly zoas and lps with a couple acros.:reading:

I was thinking that also maybe put one up high and one down low and have the higher one cranked higher than the other.

For a 36" tank, I agree.

I had a MP10 in my 36x18x18 and it was enough flow for my LPS/softy dominated tank that also has some SPS. But I ditched the MP10 for 2xTunze 6055s because the MP10 was a little too noisy for a tank that is in my bedroom.

If you don't mind the noise, I'd add a second MP10 if you're not getting enough flow and run them in anti-sync.

In my 65 I run a MP40, MP10 and I have a Koralia that I plant to replace with another MP10.

Flow-wise, not as good as MP10s, IMO. But I'm more concerned with noise and they're pretty quiet at > 50% and silent at < 50%, which is where I run them at night and why I made the switch.

well right now my return pump is louder than my mp10...still trying to fine tune it to where it is more quite. So if I can find another silent mp10 then I will be ok.
