Flow for Frogspawn?

I wanted to see what type of flow you keep your frogspawns in? IT seems if there is too much they tend to open minimally...is this the case for evryone else? Mine aren't open very large so maybe I should move them?

ok , i will have to find away to reduce the flow....hard to do with Vortech Pumps on in a mostly SPS tank!!!

Mine is doing great with just enough flow to gently wave its tenticles. It stays wide open except at night.

Mine react the same as yours BRISK495. I have 3 different types of "frogspawn". They seem happiest with a gentle sway back and forth like wind on a grassy field, in slow motion.

Hmm, mine has done equally well under high and low flow. Same expansion and growth.

What are you feeding??

Anyone else, are you feeding regulary. I feed Cyclopeeze 1-2 times a week.....I havent put anything directly into the coral...I wander if that may help it expand.....

I feed live rotifers enriched with N. occulata about every two weeks. I too have wondered about direct feeding. Once I put a piece of freeze dried krill next to the mouth. It didn't eat it after about 10 min, so I took it out. I haven't tryed again, but I should. Try some soft, fresh seafood. I will try a piece of fresh shrimp tonight and get back with what happens.

I target feed about once a month, so far I've only target fed small bits of squid and mysis. The tank gets phyto, reef chili (on occasion), brine shrimp, and cyclopeeze.

Mine gets lots of flow and seems to love it. Always at maximum expansion. Gets a little CE most nights plus a little mysis couple times a week. Have only had for a month though.
