just reading the tank requirements for octo keeping and im not seeing anything about what to do for flow in the tank? im assuming they can get into powerheads and make a mess of themselves so im wondering what folks do?
I have a powerhead, but I think it may have been responsible for a recently lost arm. I'm not positive, but I think it was the powerhead. Some use koralia- type PH's with success.
A lot of us are using koralias. I have had some issues with mine taking the protective cover off, something my last one never did. I still think along with others , these are safer than a power head. I have seen video of one octopus using the koralia to help shed suckers.
