flow in a 60 gallon for sps

I have a 60 gallon cube with primarily sps. I was wondering if I should add more flow. I currently have about 2000 gph combined using 3 koralias.


Would it help to add a vortech mp10 to get a more random flow? Would I need 2 vortech mp10s?

they are doing ok, but flow in a cube seems hard to accomplish with consistant flow patterns. It seems I always have some low flow spots even with an open aquascape. I was wondering if a vortech would help create a good flow throughout the aquarium.

I am setting up a 60 cube as well. I have one mp10es that I am using in my 20h that will be going into the cube and I am contemplating another one. As I see it, 2 mp10s would be great, but one mp10, plus the return and a k3 would be sufficient. It is all about how much money you want to spend. I will probably use my mp10 and my mag 7 return when I get the tank up and running in October and then add a second mp10 around x-mas time.

What Korilias are you running? I have an Evolution 1050 and a K2 in my 40B and it is plenty of flow.
