Flow in New Tank

Okay, so a buddy of mine HOOKED me up with some major frags. Like a lot. I'll try to list them all but I may forget some.

Bi-Colored Frogspawn
Green Toadstool
Red-Orange Monti Cap
Green Finger Coral
Leather Coral
A bunch of zoas
Pulsing Xenia
Cespitularia
Etc.

Anyways, it seems to me to be too much flow in the tank. I have no sump so the flow is simply from the circ. pumps. There's a 950 gph and another 500 gph. It just seems to be blowing everything crazy in this 55 gal. I have several options to go with and I was just wondering what y'all thought the best combination would be. Of course, I still need to figure out positioning but other than that, this is what I've come up with since apparently these corals like flow but they can't handle velocity..?

1) 2x 700 gph
2) 1x 700 gph, 1x 500 gph
3) 3x 500 gph

Like I said, it's a 55 gal long so it's weird dimensions and most of the time the flow is a "racetrack style". Any help would be appreciated!

I would position the pumps facing each other at the ends of the tank. Use a digital timer to run the pumps opposite each other to reverse the direction of the race. Use all the pumps. It's not too much flow and only half of them will be running most of the time anyway. You can overlap the timers a little so that all the pumps are on together for a temporary surge.
