I have seen a few tanks with ciano problem while they had very nice turn over inside but very poor turnover from the sump to the tank. After replacing the pump to a twice bigger one the ciano gone completely. Also check your Redox. Sometime the Ciano reflects lower Redox. And I do belive that with the new controller you'll be able to change the flow to other corners of the tank which will help to get rid of it. So far the flow of the Vortech is giving very good results for all the users that I know.
