I have a 37g (same footprint as a 29g). For years, I used 2 mj900 pumps for flow. I recently moved the pumps to the side glass and added the hydor-flo attachments for circulating flow. Although the flow pattern is good, the hydor cuts down the output alot. Any suggestions on where to go from here?
I could up the pumps to mj1200s with the hydor, replace with koralias (which ones - but I'm not sure I like them since they are big), add a sureflow mod to maxijets (but I'm sure a 900 or 1200 is too much) how would 2 mj400 or mj600 work with the sureflow mods?
Any other thoughts?
