I am in the process of setting up a 210 lps (pretty much just Euphyllia) dominant tank and have a question involving flow. I have removed one of the overflows (leaving one standard Megaflow overflow on the right side) to free up some real estate. I am using a water blaster hy-5000 (8.5 vertical feet of head) as my return pointing it toward the left side. I currently have two large rock plateaus, one each under each brace. I have a vortech mp-60w I was planning on using in between the two areas of rock and an mp-40w that was going to be placed in the middle of the glass on the left end pushing water toward the right side.
My questions (options) are-
Should I stick to my plan and leave everything where it is and just adjust the flow?
Should I sell the mp-60 and just buy another mp-40?
Should I just keepthe mp-60 where it is and sell the mp-40?
I want plenty of flow but dont want to over-do it if I can get more to spend on livestock.
