flow problem ?!

i have a 30g tank. i have a hydro koralia nano. and a aqua-clear 30 in there. ive recently re-scaped and im having problems with not engouh flow getting to the sandbed at the front. which is causing red algae to grow. if i point the powerheads to much at the sand it just blows it everywere. is there anything i cn do to sort this out ?

You might just want to re direct the powerheads and play with the current from them until you get the flow where you want it.

Is the tank newly setup? If so after a few weeks bacteria will colonize in and on the sand which will help weigh it down.

nah the tanks around 5 months now . no protien skimmer though. im getting one next month. but i dnt think that has ne thing to do with it . ill try adjusting flow again. i think part of the problem is that the aqua-clear powerheads have a very pin-pointed direction of flow. i mite get another koralia. but for for #2 as the nano doesnt have much power
