Flow question what do you all have?

I currently have a maxijet with the mod and a MP 40 on reef crest mode. I also have a mag 12 as my return. Should i increase flow on my 180 and add more pumps? How much more would i need? I just got the 180 up and running and previously my biggest tank was a 75g so it's quite different. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Exact and i mean EXACT same flow on mine except mine return is a mag 7. But I have a 90 gallon, so Half the amount of water. I would definitely have more flow IF your looking for your sps to be nutrient rich and happy. Ive seen 180's with 4 mp40's before.

I use 2x Vortech Mp40ws on my 110 and 140g. I actually have to dial them back a little. Have a buddy with a killer SPS tank 215g with 2xMp40s and they work great for him also.

I have a modded MJ600 that runs 24/7, 2 Koralia 2 that come on with the light and a Mag 3 for my return. Tank is a 40 breeder and this set p seems to have worked well for me. Lots of flow for sps.

so for you for sure another MP40 at the very least.

I have a 6 foot 150g with 2xMP40's. I have it on reefcrest, and it seems gentle but good flow. But I can crank it up to both being on wide open at the same time and it really blows some stuff around. Depends on the setting you use.

Right now I have 2 tunze 6100. 2 koralia 4s and 2 koralia 3s. I have two more 6100s coming to change things up a little.

I use 2 mp40s on my 125G. I think on a 180 at least 2 mp40s is minimum for SPS. It changes the flow dramatically when you have an mp40 blowing from each side.
