Would it be ok to kill my powerhead for the night. My 24 gallon NC has a mj1200 and the return from the sump is a mini jet 606. My peppermint shrimp I think is going to hatch out tonight and it would be nice to see it. killing the 1200 won't hurt anything right?
I shut off all my pumps for night mode except the skimmer and return pump. So I wouldnt think it would be a problem as long as you have an overflow to add oxygen to the water.
ok just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have an O2 problem or anything. Maybe I will set it up on a timer so the populace can get a nice night time break.
