Flow Question

I am setting up my 20H in a few days. I am going to be using an AC110 filter for flow...do I need a powerhead as well? I will be keeping corals in the future so my guess is yes. What make and model do you guys recomend?

Depends on what you want to keep but you should have flow turnover at least 10x... higher for sps... mj are very reliable ph's.

the filter is 428 gph...is this enough?

Well 400gph is 20x tank volume so it is just over 20x. Many reefers shoot for between 20 and 30 x tank volume per hour for corals requiring moderate to high flow. If there won't be any skimming I would add a small powerhead in the tank to keep things settling on the sand bed and do some water changes regularly.

i don't even like to calculate the filtering system into the flow rate. but i think one power head would do just fine. but i would definetly add one for some of those hard to keep corrals
