i am going with the berlin style of filtration so no need for a sump (yet)
but for a closed loop system i have a quiet one 6000 pump(1500 gph)
the intake is 1 inch
while the output is 3/4 reinforced vynil tubing up to a manifold system of 1/2 inch with 4 outlets
but im not getting the amt of flow i thought i might
do these pumps deal in water volume rather than water flow
the head height is about 4 1/2 ft so i figure i should be getting 1000 gph
the flow im getting is not too much
even my mj has more flow
on the ends i had squeezed the ends to form a sort of wide jet on th pvc peices ne ideas
i was thinking if i go 1 inch for the manifold would it flow better ?
ne ideas on this????
