Flow queston....

So while reading about different corals and flow requirements you always read "moderate", "high", "low". What exactly does that mean? Is a frogspawn that just kinda bonces around due to current is that considered "moderate" or is that "high"? So I guess what I am asking is if their is any kind of standard in regards to that rather generic descriptions given to flow. Or maybe some kind of ratio of gph of powerhead vs. gallons or distance from coral? I hope this makes sense and I do not sound too dumb. Thanks in advance for answers.

Here is how I interpret it. If it is in direct current (IE directly in front of the powerhead) it is high current. If it is getting deflected current (IE, current is hitting glass or rock before it reaches the coral) it is moderate current. If it is being deflected off of multiple objects it is low flow. Now if you have a 10 gallon nano with a Maxi 1200 there will be high current pretty much everywhere. Anyway, those are the guidelines I go by for my 90 gal.
