Hi Roger, I just recieved my 6000, and I played with the adjustment setting. What is the lowest flow rate acheivable by the manual control? I turned it all the way down, and it didn't seem to cut the flow down too much.
You will really only be able to tell by feel, it cuts the power to the pump to 30% which results in a 60% decrease in flow. It isn't really possible to see it with the Streams because the flow is so diffuse but you should feel it.
is this a specific problem or common problem you have come across Roger ? I turned both my pumps down and didnt notice a any real reduction either. I am waiting for the 7095 so it wont be for afew months that i can test this myself.
I have seen the problem once before so I know it is possible at least with the old driver. The problem is that the change in power isn't really as perceptible as one might think so without a controller to do it automatically while you have your hand in front of the pump it doesn't mean much. It is like having 20 people in a 78 degree room a certain portion will think it is hot and a few will be cold and a few will be comfortable, it is a perception and not hard data. If the driver is indeed bad the controller does nothing either.
