Flow rate

I have used the search button and came to the conclusion of any where from 30-100 over turn rate. Does that mean the gal size times what ever rate you're going for .....

I picked up a 660 gph to mix new water and thought I wonder what it would do if I changed out the power head in the tank to this one.

Well I can tell you there is absolutely no dead spots .... but is it too much ?

That all depends what's in your tank and how everything reacts to the flow there is no set rule for flow there are some basic guidelines but even then it may not be right for your tank. Do you have any coral

Zoas are pretty flexible so I wouldn't worry about it. Go with what you like. If you decide to get corals that would be more affected by flow like LPS, SPS or larger softies, then you can assess and adjust if necessary.
