What Hydor Koralia Would you guys recommend for a 55g tank? its a 4ft long standard 55g.

I thought 40x water volume was ideal? that would be 2200gph isn't 2 K3's only 1700gph? wouldn't 2-K3's and a K2 be better?

40 x is ideal for keeping sps. You can have less for other corals.
If you got K4s they would probably give you sandstorms. I've got 2 in a 150g and they have to be carefully paced.
A fellow reefer friend uses 3 x K3s in his 60g to avoid the storm. I wouldn't bother with a K2
