Hi everybody
I have bougth one red flower pot coral last week from store. The othere one at the store are open and show good health in bad environment of coral store tank but mine is still closed in my good condition reef tank that all of my coral are happy and healthy. As usual I deeped this coral at entrance after water change and put on the sand bed of tank to sure ligth compatibility. at the first and second day flower pot was closed and only color of tip of polips are visible. But at nigth polips opens about 5 milimeter and when morning ligth of tank switched on polips closed until to nigth. So at the third day , I decied put coral in shadow of rock. At this condition coral was open same as nigth and polips reached the 7 or 8 milimeter but after one week coral is at the same condition of third day. I want to know what can I do for good openning of this coral?
